In July 1999, a public meeting was held at Manor Community Shop to look into whether there was a demand for an after school club in the Manor area. After consultation with the public and advice from Sheffield Out of School Network, the club opened in September 2000 in the Standhouse centre and stayed there until 2001 when the project moved in to the purpose built Manor Community Childcare Centre. We remained in the childcare centre until 2013, when we moved to The Steel Inn, where we currently reside.
Throughout the years MASKK has changed and developed into what it is now. We became a registered charity in 2010 and since then started to deliver many more projects. We are governed by a Constitution and lead by a group of Trustees.
Our Charity was set up with a purpose in mind, with a mission statement, aims and objectives.
